Well, a couple of things:

1. Mine is a bottom up approach,
meaning common folks talking to common folks.
Our aim is to equip and empower common folks.

2. I believe that questions are the answer. At this particular time in history, people do not want a real discussion about faith, yours or theirs. We employ questions as often as possible, as disinterested and sort-of-interested folks regularly become engaged when they are drawn into a conversation by a question. Our desire is for conversations to blossom into discussions. 

3. When talking to people, we teach that winning is not the answer, persuading is.

4. We really depend on the Biblical view of fallen man, and I couple that with knowing how little the unbeliever/unconcerned/scoffer really knows. Lastly, it may surprise you, but most atheist aren't truly atheists.
